So it went a little something like this - I surprised the kids with the shoes last Sunday and asked them to draw freely. Whatever they wanted, free reign. What you must know is these aren't your typical teenagers that you have to preface with, "Whatever you want, so long as it's appropriate." So about an hour later, the kids were done and I was lacing the shoes. I became quickly frustrated that the left shoe tied one way and the right shoe a different way. Another thing you'll learn about me, I'm a little perfectionist. The shoes have to be laced the same. So as I pondered while looking at the shoes closely, I realized one shoe had 7 holes while the other only had 6! My cousins quickly laughed when we found out that shoes were two different sizes! Now what? I can't take them back, cause they're so proudly customized. The good news, my left foot is bigger, so they fit just fine. hahaha
So, how many of you have shoes that make you feel a certain way? I have over 100 pairs of shoes and they all give me a different feeling when I wear them. Some bring out the tomboy in me, others make me feel classy, and then there’s those that make me feel sexy. The Chucks make me happy, cause they remind me of my family, which always makes me smile.
