We wouldn't be who we are without our crack team of skilled artists, writers, programmers and blah blah blah...to find out who works here, check below. If you want to hear us praise our employees, drop in on one of our fruity team building exercises, where we play that game where you close your eyes and fall backward and someone catches you. We also do that one where you get in a close circle and grab random hands, then, through teamwork and cheating, try to untangle the chain. But I digress. We really do have a great team.
Lisa Caruso - General Manager
Don’t let the photo fool you, Lisa’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. That look is just for the production team, when they’re not on schedule. Nothing gets done around here when Lisa's on vacation.
As the Melaroo General Manager, Lisa generally manages every aspect of our company, from workflow trafficking to HR. Whether you are a client, co-worker or stranger, she can get you what you need in a timely fashion. Speaking of fashion, you should check out her shoes! Haha! Anyways, back to her professional capabilities…
Amy Dukes - Business Development
To say that Amy does not like this picture is an understatement. The Melacrew heartlessly ignored her pleas to retake this photo "because it shows the true Amy - happy and easy going." Amy is our Melaroo Matriarch but don’t tease her about it or she may give you a demonstration of her roundhouse kick. Yes, she can kickbox and has been known to moonlight as a Ninja Assassin.
Amy is in charge of Business Development at Melaroo, and truly does a stellar job of networking. In fact, the Six Degrees of Separation actually begins with Amy Dukes! She thrives on meeting new people and helping them understand that until their business has had the “Melaroo Touch,” they simply have not maximized their business potential! Seriously, who actually uses the Yellow Pages anymore?!?
Ted Hawkes - Creative Director
"First things first; I don't dye my hair. Yeah, I know it looks fake, especially the dark part around the bottom. It used to be cool back in the 80's, when women would approach me in the grocery store and run their fingers through it because they'd never seen anything like it. Then Eminem happened and everyone had this color and I wasn't special anymore. But at least I wasn't a walking faux pas. These days I just look like a throwback to a lame, byegone era. I've often toyed with the idea of dyeing it to make it look more natural, but men who dye their hair are ridiculous."
Ted is a founding partner and the Creative Director at Melaroo Web Marketing Company, where he conceptualizes and oversees design and development of web applications. He specializes in Design and User Experience, emphasizing the dual need of site viewers to be emotionally compelled and rationally fulfilled. His healthy résumé of design applications make him capable at realizing most any brilliant idea for publication. Animation, interactivity and unique web experiences are welcome challenges in his highly technical role.
