"First things first; I don't dye my hair. Yeah, I know it looks fake, especially the dark part around the bottom. It used to be cool back in the 80's, when women would approach me in the grocery store and run their fingers through it because they'd never seen anything like it. Then Eminem happened and everyone had this color and I wasn't special anymore. But at least I wasn't a walking faux pas. These days I just look like a throwback to a lame, byegone era. I've often toyed with the idea of dyeing it to make it look more natural, but men who dye their hair are ridiculous."

Ted is a founding partner and the Creative Director at Melaroo Web Marketing Company, where he conceptualizes and oversees design and development of web applications. He specializes in Design and User Experience, emphasizing the dual need of site viewers to be emotionally compelled and rationally fulfilled. His healthy résumé of design applications make him capable at realizing most any brilliant idea for publication. Animation, interactivity and unique web experiences are welcome challenges in his highly technical role.

He also manages Melaroo’s Commercial Video division, where he lends expertise in cinematography, production systems and direction.

Ted crafted his first web site in 2002 while in film school at Brigham Young University. Hailing from a family of engineers and programmers, it was an expedient - and profitable - outlet for his creative and aesthetic nature. Until his graduation in 2005, he worked as a web designer and multimedia instructor for the college, providing the design for the Relate Institute’s online interface, as well as numerous other departments and foundations. During his formal education, he also interned with Maricopa County ICJIS, where he investigated and mapped all eighteen criminal justice processes for the fourth largest US county, in order to integrate them on a shared intelligence database. Upon entering industry, he cut his teeth as a project manager on a number of large-budget projects, but eventually left the nine-to-five world for a chance to exercise an amount of creative control over his work. Ted is an avid do-it-yourselfer, and in his free time has enjoyed remodeling his home using alternative and salvaged building materials. Aside from multimedia, his design and production credentials range from a kitchen crafted from architectural concrete to a ceiling-height, designer plate glass wall.

• Work-and-dataflow development: effectively combines intuitive usability with logical computer programming.
• Content managed web site development, including Joomla! and PHP manipulation.
• Non-linear video editing and DVD authoring in Final Cut Studio environment.
High definition video production, including lighting and sound design.
